Broadbeach is set to pulse with live music this May as Blues on Broadbeach returns from 14–17 May 2026, celebrating a very special 25 years of blues, community and unforgettable Gold Coast moments. One of Australia’s most loved music festivals, Blues on Broadbeach once again brings world‑class blues, roots and soul to the streets, parks and venues of Broadbeach, and Oasis Shopping Centre is proud to host an official festival stage.
Fresh from winning Gold in the Major Festivals and Events category at the 2025 Queensland Tourism Awards, the festival continues to raise the bar. The 2026 edition will feature 70+ artists across more than 16 stages, delivering four days of free and ticketed performances in one of Australia’s most walkable and vibrant festival precincts.
Throughout the festival, Oasis Shopping Centre will host daily live blues performances on Level 1, offering visitors the chance to enjoy incredible music while they shop, dine or take a break from the outside festival buzz.
All Blues on Broadbeach performances at Oasis Shopping Centre are free, family‑friendly and require no tickets. Simply drop in and enjoy.

Kicking off the weekend, Jackson James Smith delivers an intimate, emotionally rich blues experience. Known as a “modern old soul,” his sound blends classic blues foundations with contemporary songwriting, drawing comparisons to artists such as Matt Corby and John Mayer. With honest lyrics and warm guitar work, Jackson’s performances feel reflective and deeply personal.
Robbie Bostock
Taking to our Oasis Level 1 stage on Friday 15th May, Robbie Bostock is a Gold Coast‑raised guitarist and songwriter renowned for his slick blues‑rock style and exceptional guitar technique. Having toured extensively as a guitarist with Australian country music icon Lee Kernaghan, Robbie has also carved out a strong solo career, blending traditional blues influences with uplifting retro tones and rock energy. Inspired by legends such as Phil Emmanuel, Jeff Beck and Mark Knopfler, his live shows showcase expressive instrumentals, rich grooves and masterful musicianship.

Blues singer Robbie Karena brings a soulful, groove‑driven sound to the Oasis Level 1 stage, blending timeless blues influences with a fresh, modern edge. With a powerful, expressive vocal style and understated guitar work, Robbie’s performances channel raw emotion and deep musical feel. Drawing on classic blues traditions while keeping his songwriting contemporary and accessible, his sets create a warm, immersive atmosphere that’s both authentic and compelling, the perfect complement to a weekend of world‑class blues and roots music.
Sam Shepherd
Sam Shepherd brings refined musicianship and dynamic guitar work to our final Blue's session of the weekend. A former “National Young Jazz/Blues Guitarist of the Year”, Sam’s career spans blues, folk, roots and instrumental guitar. With a reputation for expressive solos and polished performances, his music balances technical excellence with warmth and accessibility.

Founded in 2002, Blues on Broadbeach has grown into one of Australia’s largest music festivals with free access to majority of the performances, drawing tens of thousands of visitors to the Gold Coast each year. Renowned for its open‑access stages, beachside backdrop and walk‑between venues, the festival offers world‑class live music without barriers, making it one of the most inclusive and popular events on the Australian festival calendar.
